Phil, the youngest of three brothers, was born on April 24th, 1940 in Evanston, Illinois to Mary and Edwin Wright. He graduated from Maine West HS in 1958. Phil married his high school sweetheart Jackie in 1958. Following Jackie's passing in 1990, Phil re-married to Barbara Lundin. His home was always open to family. Throughout the years our home was also home to our grandmother Dorthy Sedewarft, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Phil was the consummate salesman selling printing equipment, insurance and even oil wells. In his career, he received many awards for his accomplishments as top salesman. His passions were bowling, horse and greyhound races. Second to his family, the Las Vegas casinos were his next joy in life.
For Phillip, his family was everything. He was so very proud of his children, grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Phil is survived by his four children Larry Wright and wife Joanna, Lisa Wright and fiancé Brian Mendell, Jim Wright and wife Lynda and Angelina Fila and husband Mark. His 10 grandchildren include Jessica, Lindsey, Meagan, Joshua, Candice, Stephanie, Dylan, Jeremy, Cody and Logan.
