Avilia M. Ortiz

Avilia M. Ortiz, 79, of Orlando, FL passed away on June 15, 2021. She was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico on February 22, 1942. Avilia was a faithful Christian and an active member of her church. She loved to cook and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her legacy will be forever felt by her family and friends. Avilia is survived by her beloved husband, Cristobal; her children: Vilma Ortiz, Betsy Ortiz, Cristobal Ortiz Jr. and Esther Ortiz; her sisters: Benita Santiago, Nilda Negron, Anna Negron and Leticia Negron; her 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Services of Avilia will be at Iglesia de Dios Mi Apocalipsis, 8701 Travarthon Rd, Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 22 from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. A Service will be at the church on Wednesday, June 23 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
