Andreanne Brown

Andreanne Brown, the daughter of the late Catherine Brown and Warren Patterson was born on January 13, 1963 in Middletown, OH. After a brief illness, Andrea made her untimely transition on February 8, 2022 in Orlando, Florida.

Andrea spent her formative years in Middletown, OH and attended the Middletown public school system where she graduated from Middletown High School. She attended Bethlehem Temple Church and received the gift of the holy ghost at the age of 12 years old. As a single mother, she moved herself and her two children to Orlando, Florida to pursue a career with NASD. In 1990, she met Ralph Bowen who became her life partner.

Andrea continued to pursue her professional goals by working with the Caliber firm, rising to a leadership position with the company. While working full time she decided to expand her professional skill set, by taking night courses and getting her cosmetology license. Ever one to believe in the virtues of education, she successfully saw her daughter, Angela Thomas, and son, Brian Brown, through to successful college careers. She was inspired by seeing her children achieve and started on her own bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management at UCF while Brian was still in school. She later achieved a master's degree in the same academic facility. Andrea worked many years as a top-rated cosmetologist, but also held many other positions including a recent promotion as an agent with the Office of Disaster Assistance, Small Business Administration.

Outside of her tenacity and amazing work-ethic, anyone that knew Andrea knows her generous spirit and impeccable ability to make a friend out of anyone she met. She led with her heart and was determined to be a light to those she met in her life. Her spirituality was the pillar to how she led her life. Andrea was a firm believer in power of will power and her life was a testament to that fact. She will be missed by all whose hearts she touched, but she will never be forgotten.

Andrea leaves behind two children, Angela Thomas and Brian Brown, a life partner, Ralph Bowen, seven grandchildren, Ariana Hutchinson, (Edward), Nalani Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Journey Thomas, Caleb Thomas, Hiram Thomas, Summer Thomas, one great grandson, Kyser Hutchinson, two brothers, Darren Brown, and Dennis Brown to include a special aunt Geraldine Bess and a host of cherished family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren Patterson and Catherine Brown.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 335 East SR 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM and will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. A repass will take place immediately following the funeral service.
