Deborah Ann Coffman Strickland died peacefully on April 7, 2022 . She was born April 16, 1964 in Woodstock, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her father, Russell Vernon Coffman, mother, Wilda Irene Bowman Coffman and brother, Russell Vernon Coffman II.

She is survived by her two sons Adam Russel Strickland ( Michelle) of Apopka and Todd Matthew Strickland( May Lynn) of Altamonte Springs, Fl. her only granddaughter Riley Elizabeth Strickland, her two sisters Judy Coffman Stickley of Woodstock, VA. and Karen Coffman Jones ( Phillip) of Bradenton, Fl. nieces and nephews and the rest of her family and friends.

Deborah, Nicknamed Deb, Graduated from Southeast High School, Bradenton, Fl. In 1972 and went on to earn her nursing degree at Manatees Junior College in 1974. She worked the night shift at Manatee Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. After her marriage to David Strickland she moved to Gainesville, Fl. and worked in neurology at Shand's Medical Center. She then moved to El Paso, Tx. ( Fort Bliss) and worked as an RN at Providence Memorial Hospital. Later moving back to Orlando / Apopka , FL. she held positions as an RN, assistant director of nursing, director of nursing at Longwood Healthcare and Health Central Park in Winter Garden, Fl. She also worked as a nursing care reviewer / auditor for Paragon and United Health Care in Maitland, Fl.

She was an excellent cook, collecting and perfecting recipes. She also enjoyed gardening of both produce and plants. She naturally took care of people, especially her family and friends. She valued these relationships and tried to keep in touch with them throughout the year

Debs celebration of life will held at Silver Fern Lounge in Altamonte Springs.
