DAVID LEE WARREN
It is with deep sorrow and pain that we announce the passing of David Lee Warren, "Spider", 64, who died unexpectedly May 14, 2022, in Orlando Florida. He was born August 4, 1957 in Orlando Florida, the third son of Charles Warren Jr and Livia Mae (Gongaware) Warren.
David was a lifetime resident of Orlando and graduated from Colonial High School in 1975, where he was a member of the football team for 3 years. After graduation he attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. In his early years, he started out as a carpenter and then moved on to the construction industry where he was a Construction Superintendent for Jr Davis Construction where he worked for over 20 years.
David had a larger-than-life personality that people gravitated to. He was a grill master extraordinaire, and he loved cooking for people. He had a great singing voice and friends and family will always remember him singing at their weddings or hanging out singing karaoke. He also played the drums and was a master at playing the spoons. David loved spending time at Melbourne Beach, watching the turtles come in and fishing. He also loved to hunt, and you could expect to see him catching a Nascar race at Daytona.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Randy (Penobscot ME). He will be deeply missed by his surviving family, his wife, Jodi (Tyler) Warren (Orlando, FL), his stepsons, Cory and Jeremy, his sisters Barbara Warren (Kennesaw, GA) and Kathy Warren Pippin (Casselberry, FL), Sister-in-law, Laurie Warren (Penobscot, ME); and brothers Mark Warren (Titusville, FL) and Robert Warren (Orlando, FL); and many nieces and nephews.
Those who wish to remember David in a special way, may donate in his memory to the Sea Turtle Preservation Society or Sea Turtle Conservancy.
