Vivian E. Albino

October 21, 1941 — January 31, 2023

Vivian Elsa Albino, age 81, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bartolo Albino; parents, Luis Diaz & Olga Rodriguez; four brothers, Luis, Roberto, Antonio, & Adalberto; and three sisters, Esther, Olga, & Ana.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Nelson, and Di-Harrison Albino; daughter, Abigail Albino; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Vivian to the public world, Mom to her four kids, Wela to her grandkids & great-grandkids, and Hermana Vivian to her brothers and sisters in Christ. A woman of unobstructed faith, she was dedicated, going to church four days a week, including twice on Sundays. She loved to talk about a relationship with God, hers and yours. She read the Bible like it was going out of style, often prayed because our lives depended on it, and could be heard singing hymns at home any time of day.

She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on October 21, 1941. At 14, she moved to New York City to join her siblings. While living in New York, she would soon meet and fall in love with Bartolo, who would become her husband. Vivian and Bartolo built a life together, raising a family of three boys and one girl, working in their respective careers, and buying their home in the Bronx, NY. It would eventually come time to venture on to somewhere new.

In 1986, Vivian and her family moved to Orlando, FL, where she would live until her passing. Vivian was tenacious, and she never waited for what she wanted—if someone said "wait," she'd already be on her way to do it herself. You could find her riding the city bus to get around because she wasn't going to let not knowing how to drive stop her. She built many friendships this way. She frequented Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, M.I., for many years and would graciously invite you to celebrate with her and the Lord. She was a natural caretaker. Even after retirement, she cared for her husband and grandkids. She loved her downtime, frequently watching crime shows, socializing with friends and family, and finding new things to buy and collect. She loved to eat and enjoyed many cups of coffee—she never said no to food or coffee. She was silly and made you laugh. She was tough and stood her ground. She was filled with love.

Vivian Elsa Albino, Mom, Wela, Hermana Vivian will be deeply missed and remembered in the hearts of so many.
