Sharon Cade Butera

Sharon passed away at home on Monday, April 3, 2023, after a long battle with dementia.

Sharon was born in Huntington, WV, on March 24, 1950, to Herbert and Ruby Cade. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wendell Cade. She was a longtime member of Orlando Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and taught sign language classes and interpreted for the deaf in the congregation. She went on 2 mission trips to Romania to help minister to the people there. She had a love for horses and had at one time 3 which she rode in parades, did trail rides and marking.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tony Butera; sons, Sean Willis, Christopher Willis; daughters, Angela Rivers, Laura Turner and Jennifer Butera. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 11:00 am. These will take place at Newcomer Chapel at 335 E SR 434, Longwood, FL. Interment will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
