Frank Anthony Vidmar, 78, of Springfield, Nebraska died April 7, 2023. Son of Anthony "Ted" August Vidmar and Bridget Gisi. Preceded in death by parents and sisters, Teresa, Victorine, Monica and Patricia. Survived by loving wife, Barbara Palmer Vidmar, daughters, Chris Marsh (Scot), Brenda Paiz (Jeff), son Jef Palmer (Alex), grandchildren Jacob, Ashley and Amanda Marsh, Braeden, Reese and Mollie Paiz, Allie Rojas (Julio) and Bob Palmer, sister Rose Vidmar and many other family members.
Frank was raised on a family farm in Ramah, Colorado. Born to Ted and Bridget Vidmar, Frank was the only son of six children. He grew up helping his family work the farm. At the age of 18, he was drafted and served in the Army for 2 years. Frank would eventually marry and have 2 daughters, Chris and Brenda. He worked the majority of his career as a heavy equipment operator. He was great at his job and worked hard for his family. After retirement, Frank moved to Nebraska to live closer to his daughters and their families. Frank loved to keep busy golfing, working out in his yard, attending his grandchildren's events, playing board games and cards, or just filling his time working on any project he could imagine. Later in life, Frank met and married the love of his life, Barbara Palmer of Casselberry, Florida. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their friends and family.
Frank served life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend who touched many lives. Frank loved to make people smile. He was a man full of stories always leaving his listeners wondering if they were true or not. He will be remembered as a sweet, kind hearted soul, always taking care of those around him. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be May 5, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with memorial service starting at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 100 9th Street, in Springfield, Nebraska.
Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12:30 pm, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs.
