Ana Maria Hernandez Vega

Ana Maria Hernandez Vega, age 72, of Vega Baja, PR, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at her daughters' home in Orlando, surrounded by the love of her family.

Ana was born on August 4, 1950 in Vega Baja, PR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Hernandez and Dolores Vega, as well as her brothers and sister, Vitin, Angel "Papo" and Iris Nereida.

She was known to most by her nickname "Puruca". She was by profession a nurse by heart a caretaker. She had no greater joy than her family, and her grandchildren filled her heart with happiness and hope!

She is survived by her children, Maria Pagan, Carmen Stella and husband R. Choki Stella, Luis Pagan, Carlos Melendez and his partner Jesus Rodriguez and Myrna Negron; thirteen grandchildren, Anthony Tziotis, Nadia M Zefri, Leila Zefri, Luis "Gabby" Pagan, Jose "JD" Pagan, Tashiaana Pagan, Elias Pagan, Ruben "Xavi" Stella, Johnathan "Alele" Stella, Giovanni Stella, Jessica Colon, Carlos Prieto, Angel Rolon, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Ana María Hernández Vega, de 72 años, de Vega Baja, PR, falleció el lunes 22 de mayo de 2023 en la casa de su hija en Orlando, FL estaba rodeada del amor de su familia.

Ana nació el 4 de agosto de 1950 en Vega Baja, PR. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Víctor Hernández y Dolores Vega, así como sus hermanos y hermana, Vitin, Ángel "Papo" e Iris Nereida.

La mayoría la conocía por su apodo "Puruca". Era enfermera de profesión, y cuidadora de corazón. ¡No tenía mayor alegría que su familia, y sus nietos llenaban su corazón de felicidad y esperanza!

Le sobreviven sus hijos María Pagán, Carmen Stella y esposo R. Choki Stella, Luis Pagán, Carlos Meléndez y su pareja Jesús Rodríguez y Myrna Negrón; trece nietos, Anthony Tziotis, Nadia M Zefri, Leila Zefri, Luis "Gabby" Pagan, José "JD" Pagan, Tashiaana Pagan, Elías Pagan, Rubén "Xavi" Stella, Johnathan "Alele" Stella, Giovanni Stella, Jessica Colon, Carlos Prieto, Ángel Rolon y dieciocho bisnietos.
