Luis J. Martinez

Luis José (Luito) Martínez Salas, aged 60, passed away in Orlando, FL on the 20th of January 2024. He was a beloved son, father, partner and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Luis José was born on the 13th of November 1963 in Landstuhl, Germany, where he lived until he was 5 years old. He then moved to Puerto Rico with his parents. He went on to attend University of Puerto Rico and Youngstown State University in Ohio, where he graduated in Criminal Justice and Spanish Literature. He later became a Private Investigator and Parole Officer. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion.

Luis José is preceded in death by his father Luis Angel Martínez and his mother Elba Ebelia Salas.

He is survived by his sister Magda Elena Martínez Salas, his partner Carmen Pitty Garay, his children Mónica Marianne Martínez and Francisco Xavier Martínez, and his grandson Nowajah Fuller. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held for family and close friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 from 5PM to 8PM.
