Adam Jacob Miceli

June 20, 2003 — April 19, 2024

Adam Jacob Miceli was born in Winter Park, Florida, on June 20, 2003. He was raised by his loving parents, Kristin Leigh Brooks and Joseph Miceli. In the years that followed, Adam’s family continued to grow, and they welcomed his younger sister, Kaytlyn Nicole, in November 2005.

In October 2007, Adam’s family expanded again with the addition of his stepfather, Hector Javier Tapining, and additional brother, Keanu Javier. Adam embraced his new family members with open arms and they forged bonds to endure lifetimes. Throughout his life, Adam was surrounded by the love and support of not only his immediate family, but also his extended family. He made countless memories spending time with his late grandmothers, Judy Lee Gebben and Rosalia Miceli, and his grandfather, Monty Bertrand Brooks, and grandmother, Karen Kay Brooks. He cherished the memories he made with his uncle, Benjamin Marshall Brooks, playing thousands of games of Madden NFL, and he was showered in love and affection by his aunts, Alissa Nicole Neal and Maria Lynn Brooks. He was also loved by his mother and father’s extended family in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and California.

Adam was deeply passionate about music and the arts, and he had dreams of forging out a livelihood through creative endeavors. His voice resonated as a beacon of wisdom, and he was a steady presence amidst life’s uncertainties. To those around him, Adam was an unwavering source of support, and he often offered guidance to those around him even in the midst of his own struggles. He had an incredible sense of humor and brought joy to those around him. A quick and razor-sharp wit allowed him to bring levity to any situation, never deterred by rolled eyes or sighs. He could always find the funny in even the most dire of situations, and was always willing to uplift others in every interaction. Adam was an extraordinary person. He wore his heart on his sleeve, but was unafraid to speak his mind and share his thoughts, even if it was not what others wanted to hear. His authenticity inspired those around him to embrace their true selves, fostering a sense of acceptance and belonging among his friends. He balanced a thirst for adventure with a quiet reserve - he was a thrill-seeker who loved motorcycles, yet he was also grounded and sensible. He was opinionated, but also open-minded. His presence enriched the lives of those who knew him, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness and honesty. As we bid farewell to Adam, we celebrate the legacy of love and cherished memories he leaves behind, forever etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Longwood on Friday, April 26th at 2:00 PM, with a reception to follow at 5:00 PM at 251 Overbrook Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.
