Adrian José Saldaña passed away at the age of 36 on Monday April 3rd 2017 in Orlando, Florida. He was the first of three sons born to Wanda Feliciano Cintrón and Juan Antonio Saldaña, on December 18th, 1980 in Fort Hood, TX. Known to so many friends as José or AJ, Adrian lived a life of hard work and simple pleasures. His tough exterior belied a huge warm heart that will certainly be his legacy. He will also be remembered for his love of football, specifically the New York Giants.
Adrian is survived by his parents Juan and Wanda, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins who are deeply heartbroken as they grieve the loss of a loved one gone too soon. The family cherishes memories of a playful mischievous child who made them laugh and smile.
He is also survived by his two brothers Carlos Antonio Saldaña and Daniel Julian Saldaña, as well as his partner of 9 years, Dina Lopez, who will forever miss his funny loud laugh, his smile, and the way he loved his pit bull babies, Bruno and Zeenah.
His baby brother Daniel recalls that whenever the three of them were together, it was always like they were kids again. They never fought or argued. They were closer than the three amigos and always had each other's backs. Daniel will continue to carry his brother with him at the occasional Sunday brunch they used to share.
His brother Carlos knows that no distance, no time, no space, can break the bond of brotherhood he has felt all of his life with Adrian and Daniel. Living in Minneapolis for the past 9 years, Carlos has counted on that bond of brotherhood to see him through the darkest of times. Though he will miss his big brother in the physical world, he will continue to count on that spiritual bond of brotherhood that has never let him down.
Adrian is being received in spirit by his maternal great-grandmother Petra Morales, his paternal grandfather Juan Antonio Saldaña Rivera, and his beloved paternal grandmother Rosaura Estrella Velazquez, who shared the same birthday and the same unforgettable green eyes.
