Ahkeria Jonia Zamoria Edwards

Orlando, FL – Passed on August 25th, 2021 at the age of 31.

Ahkeria was born in West Palm Beach, FL where she spent the early years of her life with her loving family until relocating to Orlando, FL thereafter. A highly intelligent and gentle soul, Ahkeria was an honors student who also possessed a keen interest in the arts. This regard prompted her to join her student choir where she was known for her, "Strong Alto" voice. This would eventually lead to her love of music and musicals.

Ahkeria's love for music would expand to tv shows, movies and comic books as she continued her journey, soaking up all forms of artistic and creative expression. Ahkeria also loved a strong and stiff drink every now and again and would get up and dance at family get-togethers, warming hearts with her infectious laughter. She was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her mother: Paulette Hutchinson; her sisters: Ciiedath Edwards, Brittany & Mercedes Bates, and Special Griffin; brother: Adrian Jamal Cornette; father: Jonathan Edwards; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ahkeria will be cremated on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 12:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-East Orlando - Florida 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822.
