Alan Stephen Bartlett

May 20, 1955 — February 2, 2024

Alan Bartlett, age 68, of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was born in the Bronx, New York on May 20, 1955.

Alan dedicated his career to Pershing, where he was a bond trader. He spent over 20 years as a resident of Spotswood, New Jersey where he was president of the Spotswood Board of Education and the Spotswood Soccer Club. Some of his most enjoyable years were spent coaching soccer, baseball, and softball. He had a passion for photography; he could always be seen taking pictures at his children's sporting events, family gatherings, on vacations, and most other places he would go. He was an avid fan of the New Jersey Devils and New York Giants, although he always said, "the Giants will always find a way to break your heart". Most of all, he was a devoted husband and father, who cherished spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Arlene (Turnbull) Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lori Bartlett, children Christine and Andrew Bartlett, brother Raymond Bartlett and his wife Adrienne, and many nieces and nephews.
