Thompson Alan Bruce. 58, In celebration of Alan Bruce Thompson's life, who passed away Saturday, May 4th at his home in Orlando, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Alan graduated from Villanova University, as well as received his Black Belt Certification from The Pyzdek Institute.. He had a successful career as a Clinical Analyst, most recently guiding the State of Florida with their implementation of on-line medical records through University of Central Florida-College of Medicine.

Alan loved fishing, photography, tinkering around the house and spending time with their two dogs, César and Ruffles. He loved family vacations, which took him from coast to coast with his beloved wife, Vivian. When asked what he thought his greatest accomplishments where he said finding true Love and his children.

Alan was survived by wife Vivian Thompson; children Eric Thompson (Gosia); Christel Flemming (Chris); Lorie Stephan-Torres (Benjamin), Jennifer Stephan, Richard Stephan and Stephanie Ward; mother, June Cullinan; mother in-law Vivian Console; siblings Barry Thompson and Jeannine Brodeur; as well as 5 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 11th. The arrangements are entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home located at 895 S Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL. Condolences may be offered at 10 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers the family graciously requests that donations be made to
