Alan Y. Vaughan, 60, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Winter Park, FL. He was born on November 13, 1956 in Summerville, SC and is the beloved son of Alice and the late John Vaughan.
Alan has been a longtime resident of Central Florida, graduating from Winter Park High and furthering his studies at Rollins College where he earned his bachelor's degree. He led a successful career in the entertainment business as a theater technician. He retired from Walt Disney World after 26 wonderful years of service. Alan was well loved by his colleagues and family.
He leaves many memories to be cherished by his mother, siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family members and friends. Alan will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5PM to 8PM on Monday, March 6th at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando.
