Albert Every entered his heavenly home on December 8, 2018 at the age of 93.
He was born April 26, 1925 to Walter and Martha Every in Delta, Colorado. On May 31, 1943, he married Dorothy West, his high school sweetheart, in Hotchkiss, Colorado. He served his country with the US Army in Germany and had a varied career working as a farmer, meat cutter, uranium and coal miner, heavy equipment operator and mechanic. After moving to Florida in 2001, he spent his retirement years serving as a volunteer with Wycliffe Associates supporting Bible translation.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by one sister, Clara Beyeler of Fruita, Colorado; two sons, David (Marilyn) Every of Seattle, Washington and Norm (Lanita) Every of Clermont, Florida; seven grandchildren, Steve Every, Julie (Every) Brown, Heidi (Every) Bhise, Tom Every, Deanna (Every) Scott, Lanelle (Every) Emerson and Melanie (Every) Carroll; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date with burial in Hotchkiss, Colorado.
