It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Albert James (Jim) Frick (aka “Fricky”). Jim, left us on 01/18/2025 in Orlando, FL. Born on 09/30/1947 in Hudson, NY, the third child to Albert George Frick and Dorthy Ann (Gregory) Frick. Jim was a hard worker and a glass/mirror cutter for decades. He was devoted and kind. His humor brightened the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jim is a Vietnam Veteran. He served in the Army from 1964-1967. He loved his family, friends, friends who became family, motorcycles, beer, football, naps, and dogs. Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and inspiration. We will all miss him every day for the rest of our lives.
Jim is predeceased by his parents, sister Patricia Ann Frick, wife Mary Beth (Noble) Frick, and nephew Robert Lee Comellas. He is survived by sisters Deanna (Frick-Jones) Wheeler, Linda (Frick) Comellas, brother Richard Alan (Debbie) Frick, sister-in-law Lauren (Ross) Jordan, and brother-in-law Howard Noble, Goddaughter Kelley (Staats) Nemecek. Additionally, Jim is survived by nieces Dawn Williams, Amanda Frick, Megan Frick, and Taylor (Daniel) Anderson. Nephews Richard (Shannon) Frick, Jeremy Frick, Christopher Comellas, Nathan (Kelly) Noble, Brent ( Jennifer) Jordan. Jim is also survived by 8 great-nephews and 2 great nieces.
We will all forever cherish the memories and lessons he taught us. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that his spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. He is home with his beloved Mary Beth.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jim’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Rest in peace, our dear Jim. Your love, wisdom, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
