Albert Lundy, 70 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
He was born on March 23, 1945 in Portsmouth, Virginia and moved to Central Florida in 2004. Albert graduated from I.C. Norcum High School in Portsmouth class of 1963 and then went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He retired from Bank of New York in 2006. Albert loved the arts, especially music and had spent many of his retired years studying instruments and teaching youth to play piano, guitar and harmonica along with him as he learned.
Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Annie (Gray) Lundy, his first wife of 14 years, Elma Maria Valentini, step-mother, Julia (Bunny) Lundy, brother, Cato Watson and sister, Helen. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Youree M. (Holliman) Lundy; children, Donnell T. Lomax and his wife, Natalina, Todd A. Lomax and his wife, Angela, Gregory L. Lundy, Janina C. Lundy, Christopher L. Lundy, Allysun J. Lundy and Aaron J. Lundy; Father, Johnny L. Lundy; step-mother, Barbara Lundy; brother, Allen Lundy and his wife, Selena; sister, Ruth Anne Rice; step-sister, Keisha Pratt and 6 Grandchildren.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held in Portsmouth, Virginia under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23704 757-399-6366.
