Alex George Arroyo, age 33, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 with his fiancé Andrea by his side.
Alex was born on May 13, 1987. He was adopted by Louis and Eneida Hernandez Arroyo and grew up the youngest of four. Alex lived in Puerto Rico for a short period of time before moving to Florida.
Alex was a man dedicated to doing the best he could. This was exemplified in his work ethic. Alex obtained a diploma from Seminole Community College in adult education while working at Athena's. At the age of 18 he began his 14-year career with Carrabba's despite battling his illness on and off. He started as a dishwasher and worked his way to Kitchen Manager. Carrabba's not only gave Alex a multitude of lifelong friends but also a fiancé. While growing up, Alex gained a second family, the Pizzichiello's. His family grew to another mother, two more sisters, and a brother. Alex was stubborn but he had the softest heart and would help a person to whatever capacity he could. He recognized people's struggles and would give the shoes off his feet (literally) to help. Though he had many challenges, he chose to live each day with a smile on his face, striving to do the best he could in life.
Alex is survived by his fiancé and companion of four years, Andrea Tardif; second mother and father Larry Sr, Nancy Pizzichiello; 7 siblings, Rose Hernandez, Debra Lopez, Arlene Melendez Edmonds, George Hernandez, Amanda Pizzichiello, Dominique Pizzichiello, Larry Pizzichiello.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eneida Hernandez Arroyo
