Alexander Joseph Stavale

Alexander J. Stavale, age 92, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. He was born on March 22, 1926 in Orange, New Jersey to parents Philip and Paulina Stavale.
He was a loving husband, caring father, and a proud grandfather. His family meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Virginia Stavale; daughters, Penny (Vincent) Feher and Ginger (Gregory) Palen; sons, Anthony (Janet) Stavale and Wayne Stavale; grandson, Gregory (Diana) Palen; granddaughters, Stephanie Hockman, Mary Stavale, Kristine (David) Tran, and Emily (Andrew) Maratta; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Angela Salerno; and brother, Anthony Stavale.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. The funeral mass will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, where military honors will be rendered for his service to our country in the United States Navy and World War II.
