Alfred Irving Spiegel

Mr. Alfred Irving Spiegel, age 95, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, April 22, 2019 in Winter Park, Florida. Irving, as everyone called him, was born on July 9, 1923 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Molly and Joseph Spiegel. They resided Revere, Massachusetts.

On October 18, 1949, Irving married the love of his life, Barbara Miller. They were married in the Chateau Garod Wedding Hall on Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts, and spent the next 66 years happily married. They were blessed with two daughters, Joanne and Lori.

A couple of his favorite hobbies included eating at restaurants with family and watching tv. He was especially sharp when it came to remembering classic movie details, characters, and stars.

Irving was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters, Joanne Stewart and Lori Marshall; granddaughter, Stefanie Marshall; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Brilliant; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marvin and Ruth Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Molly and Joseph Spiegel; wife, Barbara Spiegel; and sister, Eileen Levy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.
