Alida Alicea, 84 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015.
She was born on August 7, 1931 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Rafael and Monserrate Rodgriguz Cordero who have both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ruben A. Borrero and her brother, Rafael Cordero. Alida was a homemaker and member of Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.I. in Orlando where she was a member of the choir. She enjoyed singing, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Alida will be remembered for her kind and loving heart. She was always doing and giving to others.
She is survived by her husband, Jose D. Alicea; daughter, Nancy Hunter; brothers, Modesto Cordero, Hector Cordero and Reinaldo Cordero; sisters, Teresa Cordero, Carmen Monserrate Cordero and Milagros Cordero; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
