Al Bragg, 92, of Red Hook, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 12th, 2024.
He was born in Douglasville, GA, on October 9th, 1932. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He married Mary on September 30, 1956, and they raised their family in Brooklyn.
He owned & operated an American oil service station & was then a mechanic for DynAir and Pechter Bakery. Upon retirement, he pursued his lifelong passions of hunting and fishing. He was also a skilled craftsman. Crafting furniture as a hobby, he was happiest doing woodworking projects for his family.
His cheery "Goood Morning" every time he greeted you (regardless of time of day) will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary; children, Michael & his wife Nancy, Thomas, Mary Jo & her husband José, Jo-Ann & her husband Louis; sister, Ozell; and 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
