Amber Jeanne Freeman Marques was 73. She died unexpectedly on January 22, 2021, at a hospice facility in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Amber was born on February 17, 1947 in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Wilbur and Dawn Freeman. She graduated from Oakridge High School in Orlando, Florida (Class of 1965). Amber married her husband, Jack, on July 25, 1969, and last year, they celebrated fifty-two years of marriage.
Amber is survived by her husband, Jack Marques; son, Christopher of Dallas, Georgia; daughter, Jennifer Miller of Orlando, Florida; her grandsons; Brendan Miller of Orlando, and Brentley Marques of Taylorsville, Indiana; her granddaughter; Emily Miller of Orlando; her great-grandson, Blaiceryn Marques of Taylorsville, Indiana; her sisters, Teri Tomlinson of The Villages, Florida, and Sandi Goodwin of Apopka, Florida; and her brother, Hoby Freeman of Mount Dora, Florida.
Friends and family are invited to gather at South Fern Creek Community Church on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 for brunch at 10:00 am, and for a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
Flowers can be delivered to Newcomer Funeral Home or the South Fern Creek Community Church. In lieu of flowers, Amber's family asks that you make donations to the South Fern Creek Community Church.
