America Pastrana, 74, of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on October 23, 2021 of natural causes.
America was born to Joaquin and Inocencia Pastrana on February 28, 1947 in Manhattan, NY. She was the youngest of five children. America attended school in New York and later moved to Jersey City, NJ.
America married Alfredo De Jesus, from that union was born Jose Alfredo (Freddie) and Maria Isabel. She divorced Alfredo and married Juan Morales, from which her youngest child Clarita was born.
America worked at Ray's Restuarant in NJ as a cook but most of her time was spent being a housewife and doing her hobbies which included crocheting, talking on the phone, trying out new recipes, traveling with her children and attending church. America also lived in Colorado, Texas, Washington and briefly in Florida.
America is survived by sister Myrna Colon, her children: Freddie (Jocelyn), Maria (Anthony), Clarita (Jamal); her grandchildren: Christina, Jose, Eva, Kobe, Nadia, Joshua, Chloe, Jarrell, Amelia, Jayden; her great grandchildren: Ian, Louis, Alexis, Aubrey; her nieces: Susan, Gladys; her nephews: Raymond, Angel; her cousins and a host of friends.
