Affectionately known as "Annie" or "Pia", Ana was born on August 17, 1951, she touched the lives of many as she began teaching in 1975 and later moved to the United States in April 1984. She was not just a teacher; she was an inspiration who taught countless children the invaluable skills of reading, writing, and mastering the English language. Her intelligence, strength, and determination were unparalleled, and her dedication to education was evident in the multiple degrees she earned in Guatemala. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to achieve her bachelors, masters, and doctorate in education, earning her the esteemed title of Dr. Guerra in 2008.

As a Christian she accepted God's will, finding solace in His warm embrace. Her spirit now rests in the comfort of His love, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished. She is deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ana is survived by her loving daughter, Marlene Guerra-Reeve, her son-in-law Brian Reeve, her brothers Otto, Rene, and Guallito, along with numerous other family members and cherished friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and wisdom.

In honoring her final wish, Ana will be laid to rest near her beloved mother, Maria, in Guatemala. A service to celebrate her remarkable life and a peaceful interment will take place at the end of November, allowing those who knew her to bid her a heartfelt farewell and remember the warmth and light she brought into their lives. May her memory continue to inspire us all, reminding us of the enduring power of love, determination, and faith.

Carñosamente conocida como "Annie" o "Pía", Ana nació el 17 de Agosto de 1951; tocó las vidas de muchos desde que empezó a enseñar en 1975 y posteriormente se mudó a los Estados Unidos en abril de 1984. No era solo una maestra; era una inspiración que enseñó a innumerables niños las habilidades invaluables de la lectura, escritura y dominio del idioma inglés. Su inteligencia, fuerza y determinación eran inigualables, y su dedicación a la educación se reflejaba en los múltiples títulos que obtuvo en Guatemala. Su búsqueda del conocimiento la llevó a obtener su licenciatura, maestría y doctorado en educación, lo que le valió el prestigioso título de Dra. Guerra en 2008.

Como cristiana, aceptó la voluntad de Dios, encontrando consuelo en Su abrazos fuertes. Ahora su espíritu descansa con Su amor, dejando atrás un legado que será eternamente apreciado. Es profundamente extrañada por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Ana es sobrevivida por su querida hija, Marlene Guerra-Reeve, su yerno Brian Reeve, sus hermanos Otto, Rene y Guallito, junto con numerosos otros familiares y amigos entrañables, todos los cuales fueron tocados por su amabilidad y sabiduría.

En cumplimiento de su último deseo, Ana será sepultada cerca de su querida madre, María, en Guatemala. Un servicio para celebrar su vida notable y un sepelio pacífico tendrán lugar a finales de noviembre, permitiendo que aquellos que la conocieron le den una sincera despedida y recuerden la calidez y luz que ella trajo a sus vidas.
