Ana M. Rodriguez-Laboy,94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13,2007.
Born July 17, 1912 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Married 60 years to Francisco (Pancho)Rodriguez, they are finally joined in eternal peace.
Ana, also lovingly known as Mami Ana and Nana, is survived by her children, Frankie, Carmen, and Rosie Rodriguez; 7 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Granchildren, her pet companion, Papo; and her spirit lives on in her unborn Great-Great Grandchild, Elijah.
She was known for her generosity, charitableness, and devout faith in God.
She was a member of the Sacret Heart Society. She volunteered in numerous organizations and supported various charities.
She will be fondly remembered as the fiesty Matriarch of the Rodriguez Family who adored her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:30 PM on Monday, January 15, 2007 in Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
