Andrea Cade

Andrea Cade, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday March 13, 2022.
Andrea was born as Andrea Yvonne Jones on May 26, 1943 in Fruitland to parents Jasper Peter Jones
and Mary Price Jones. Andrea's dad died when Andrea was just a baby and her mother, Mary, raised her
as a single mother.
On December 27, 1962, Andrea married the love of her life, John Cade and spent the next 59 years
happily married. God blessed John and Andrea with two children, Michael and Sonya, and raised their
family in Seville, FL.
During the early years of marriage, Andrea loved to go overnight bass fishing and shrimping with her
husband. Not having much money, Andrea also loved to drive with John to K-Mart in Daytona on Friday
or Saturday nights just to walk around the store.
Andrea served as President of the Methodist Women and substituted at Seville Elementary.
Andrea's favorite past-times and activities included singing in the church choir, bowling in the women's
and mixed leagues, reading romance novels, playing bridge and pinochle card games, eating at the
Lobster Pot in Ormond and eating shrimp at Corky Bells in E. Palatka, going to the Palatka fruit market,
watching Hallmark Channel movies, Gunsmoke and anything with John Wayne in it.
Andrea is mourned by her husband, John Cade, two children Mike (Tammy) and Sonya (Stephen), six
grandchildren Paige (Jeremy), Jill, Gage, Daven, Brooke and Chase and one great grandchild Jaxson.
Other survivors include her sister Clarice Williams (Al).
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 26 at 3:00 PM at Seville Trinity Methodist Church,
185 Lemon Road, Seville, FL 32190.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Andrea's honor to the Seville Trinity
Methodist Church, 185 Lemon Road, Seville, FL 32190.
