Andrea Lebron went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2016.
Andrea will be missed by her four children, Fernando, Leyla, Enrique and Sheila.
She was also blessed with and spoiled six grandchildren, Dalila, Kolyn, Allyson, Tony, Benjamin, Christian and Fernando Josiah.
As a free spirit, she raised her children on her own instilling values of independence, resilience, creativity, dignity and faith.
Andrea loved to write songs and sing. In the 1940s, these loves led her to friendships with famed singer and songwriters- Daniel Santos and Pedro Flores, whom she collaborated with. She often reflected back on that exciting, jet setter life with much joy.
Her home was always filled with music from her beloved Puerto Rico and Spain.
Andrea a true entrepreneur, lived a life with purpose and many accomplishments.
She was the owner/operator of The American Button Company located in Puerto Rico, as well as many other ventures. Always re-inventing herself, her ventures reflected her love of cooking, fashion, and most fundamentally - freedom to live on her own terms.
A Christian woman of strong faith she served the church as the nutrition and cooking teacher. She loved feeding everyone and her home was often filled with hungry missionaries that could always get a home cooked meal with her famous extra sweet punch.
Andrea had a special place in her heart for animals, especially birds- at one time she grew a pair of doves to a huge family that flew free but always came back to her. She kept chickens- each had a name- and singing birds kept her company.
Her signature hello of a smile and flashing of the peace sign will never be forgotten.
Her loved ones will celebrate her life on June 29th, 2016, 3:30 pm at the chapel on
480 W Central Pkwy, Altamonte Springs, Fl. 32714
We thank God for setting her spirit free from her ailing body and are confident that her soul, spark and love live forever in God's embrace.
