Angel Rafael Reyes

Angel Rafael Reyes Verdejo,, age 64 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday afternoon, September 20, 2015 in Hospice care in Orlando. He was born May 18, 1951 in Cataño, Puerto Rico to Carmen Tomosa Verdejo and Felix Reyes Sr. (both deceased).

Angel will be remembered for his love of life, by his wife Ada L. Reyes Rodriguez, and family who were there with him until he departed to glory.

Angel loved his music as a salsero and fishing. He also has completed degrees in Culinary Arts. Those of you who had tasted his pastries enjoyed the fulfilling taste.

Angel was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was full of life and also brought life and happiness to those who were down in their moments.

Children -- He loved so many children whether they were family or not. To him they had brought joy to his heart.

For the past year and a half, he had also given himself to the Lord at Friends Community Church on Dean Road in Orlando, Florida. On every Sunday he would wake up full of energy to participate in the house of the Lord with his brothers and sisters. Angel also enjoyed speaking with Pastor Vinnie Korb as well as with everyone else who has accepted him.

Angel is survived by his loving wife Ada L. Reyes Rodriguez; his niece Lorraine and her husband Tony from New York; grand niece Fallon; grand nephews Nicky and Blake; great grand nephews Kayo and Klyde; his other niece Pamela Rodriguez; great grand niece Sophia Ruparsic and her daughter; and nephew Eddie Rodriguez. He will be missed a great deal by his loving animals: dogs Jessica and Stitch, birds Corkey, Elsa, and Willie.

He will be missed by his siblings, brothers Marcos Reyes and sons, and Arnold Reyes; as well as his sister Santa Gonzalez and her husband. His nephew Dionny Gonzalez; grand nephew Dionny Jr.; grand nieces Raven, Lexis, and Victoria; and also brother Felix Reyes and Chereece (sister-in-law).
