Anibal D. Martinez Valentin, 91, of Orlando, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Orlando, FL. He was born July 11, 1925, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late David and Inocencia (Valentin) Martinez.
Anibal will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
He leaves memories to be cherished by his beloved wife, Adia F. Martinez; children, Veronica Romero (Victor), Monica Martinez, Millie Martinez (Peter Royland), and David Martinez (Gisela); sister, Margarita Martinez; brothers, Moises Martinez, Harry Lopez, Richard Lopez, Efrain Lopez, Adolfo Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Manuel Martinez, and Jose Valentin; 17 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren as well as a host of extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Enrique Martinez.
Family will receive friends from 9AM to 10AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL with a Celebration of Anibal's Life to follow at 10AM.
Interment with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
