Anna Cowart

Anna L. Cowart passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 at age 94. She was born in Ashland, Pennsylvania to Helen and Guy
Slotterback. Anna attended McCanns College where she majored in Accounting and Typing. She attended Jacksonville Junior College taking Real Estate courses and extension courses from the University of Florida. Anna worked at Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida for eight years as well as working in business and real estate. She was active in several organizations such as business societies, Orlando Shakespeare Theater and volunteered on numerous committees at the Ventura Country Club where she lived for 18 years. In 1979 Anna was selected Woman of the Year for the Sunburst Business organization.
Anna is survived by siblings Robert Slotterback, Richard Slotterback, Grace Slotterback, and Elva Slotterback; a brother, Guy Slotterback is deceased; a son, Richard Reiff; grandchildren Richard Campbell Reiff, Rebecca Cox, Emerson Reiff; great grandchildren, Madison and Tipton Cox. Anna enjoyed traveling, reading, bridge, swimming, and golf but most of all--people. As requested by Anna, she will be cremated with no public service. Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Private services will be held by the family. Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
