Anna Marcone, 85, died and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
She was born to the late Jeremia and Pasqualina Fappiano, on November 18, 1926, in Alife, Italy. Anna moved to the United States in 1956, where she met and married Frank Marcone. They lived together in Rochester, New York before relocating to Hollywood, Florida in 1977. After many wonderful years in Hollywood, Anna and Frank moved to Orlando in 1997.
Anna was an amazing cook, and she loved to use her gift of preparing food for all those around her. She was always ready, willing and able to make a meal and spoil those she loved with a delicious spread of Italian delicacies. Besides cooking, Anna loved her sons, gardening, exercising, football, and everything Italian.
Anna was an active member of Saint Joseph's Catholic church, where she attended mass regularly and enjoyed playing Bingo on Friday nights with her younger sister, Sylvia Veltre.
Anna is survived by her husband Frank Marcone, and her two sons: Ernie Marcone of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Dan Marcone of Oviedo, Florida. She is also survived by her two daughters-in-law, Amy and Holly, and her six grandchildren: Victoria, Amanda, Nicholas, Allie, Dallas, and Taylor.
