Anna Nieves passed away peacefully on February 1, 2018 with loving family by her side. Anna was born in Wloclawek Poland in 1941.
Anna lived life through simple pleasures. She loved her childhood on the farm. She loved birds, fishing, and feeding anyone who came through her door. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the smell of delicious cooking.
Throughout her life she worked tirelessly to provide for her five children and loving husband. She was in her glory while she cooked for family and friends, whether for holidays, special events, or just a family brunch. Everyone was welcome as long as they brought their appetite. Her hard working hands are at rest and anyone who has tasted her cooking will be reminded of her absence, especially during the holidays.
Mom loved to have fun. Her practical jokes and the good natured teasing of her loved ones will always be cherished memories. Her joy for life was shown via her hearty, infectious laughter and constant smile. She was loved and well respected by many. Words cannot explain how greatly she will be missed.
Our family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in all forms with special thanks to Maria Julia Cabrera.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 N. Thacker Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34741. Interment at Osceola Memory Gardens will follow.
