Anne Rose Keane

June 19, 1932 — October 14, 2020

On October 14, 2020 Anne Rose Keane, a loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of eighty-eight.

Rose was born on June 19, 1932 in Belize, Central America, to Sally Bailey and Alexander John Hunter. After high school, she left Belize to pursue a degree in nursing and then followed her dream to see the world; as a stewardess for Pan Am Airlines. She became a Naturalized citizen and later married William Keane; they had 2 children, Kimberly Anne and William Worthington II. Rose followed her husband back to Belize and raised Kim and Billy.

In 1980 the family returned to the US and lived in South Florida. Rose's passion for life, family, and nursing settled her in Broward County where she was an open-heart surgery nurse and an OR Educator. In 2008, after the death of her husband, she moved to Groveland to live with her daughter. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and dedication to family. She is survived by her son and daughter and 3 siblings: Frederick Hunter, Henry Hunter, and Marguerite Chandler and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandsons.

The Funeral Mass for this great woman will be held on October 31st at 11:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church Orlando, FL.
