Anthony Garrido

Anthony "Tony" Jason Garrido passed away on the evening of July 13, 2016 in Riverview, FL. He was 37 years old.

Tony was born September 4, 1978 in Buffalo, NY to proud parents George and Georgiana Cummings Garrido. He always lived to the fullest, with a zest for life and an unmistakable laugh that left a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched. Tony loved the water as an avid surfer and beach-goer. He also loved paddle boarding, boating, water skiing and snow skiing. He was a talented athlete, excelling in hockey from a young age as well as soccer, basketball, and golf. Tony was a proud graduate of Florida State. While staying loyal to his hometown Buffalo Bills, he was a fan of local Tampa Bay Bucs and Rays.

Tony was a loving father of two girls, Lily Grace and Chelsea Kate, of Tampa, FL, and son Landon of Atlanta, GA. He is survived by his children, parents George and Georgiana Garrido of Orlando, FL, sister Anna Garrido Ferratusco of Orlando, grandmother Anna Kathleen Cummings of Sarasota, FL, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, July 23rd at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando, FL with visitation from 12-3 pm and a memorial service beginning at 3 pm.

A celebration of Tony's life will continue at the Rio Pinar Country Club immediately following.

Should Tony's friends and family desire, donations may be made to the Anthony J. Garrido Memorial Fund to benefit his children and assist his family with funeral expenses.
