LAZARSKI, Anthony R., 73, passed away August 23, 2005, after a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo, NY, on October 12, 1931, he resided in Orlando for 50 years. During his service in the US Navy, he rose to the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer and was stationed at the Sanford Naval Air Station. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 1994 after 33 years as an electronics technician. He later honed his skills in woodworking and antique furniture repair as a hobbyist and craftsman associated with Apple Core Antiques. He and his wife, June, recently celebrated their 50th anniversary in St. James Catholic Cathedral, before the same altar where they were married on May 28, 1955. He was active in the church at St. James and served together with his wife as an usher for the 10:30 Mass. He also worked as a Deputy for the Orange County Supervisor of Elections.

"Tony" is survived by his wife, June; sons Robert A. (married to Anne) and Steven R. (married to Sharon and father of Ashley). His extended family includes Eric and Jacquelyn Reece and their children Jacey and Jansen, as well as John and Barby Sharp. Other survivors include his sister, Mary Lou Kelly and her husband Donald; nephew Daniel Kelly (husband of Shera and father of Sara and Dillon) of Orlando; nephew Michael Kelly (husband of Susan and father of Max); nephew Thomas Blady; and niece Michelle Lazarski; brother-in-law Donald Bentsen and his wife Nancy of Orlando; nephew Brian Bentsen (father of Kristen and Hannah); brother-in-law Harold Bentsen and his wife Ruth; nephew Bruce Bentsen and his wife Cindi.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Friday, August 26, in St. James Catholic Cathedral, 215 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 (phone 407-422-2005). Inurnment will be in the Victorian Columbarium at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789 immediately after the service.
