Anthony Martinez, 55, of Orlando, FL, passed away unexpectedly in Puerto Rico on February 8, 2019.
Anthony was born on June 23, 1963 in Trenton, NJ; son to parents Esperanza Hechavarria and the late Aurelio Martinez. As a young boy, Tony enjoyed sports and being around his friends. Although Tony encountered setbacks throughout his life, his proudest moment was when his daughter Isabel was born. One of his most admirable qualities was his love and desire to be around family. Tony had a strong faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and throughout his life continued to seek the Lord.
Tony is survived by his mother, Esperanza; his daughter, Isabel M. Martinez; four brothers, Albert Martinez and his wife Jenny Cruz, Daniel Martinez, and David Martinez and his wife, Silvia, Ervin Hechavarria and his husband, William Hasson; and three sisters, Marilyn Martinez, Marisol Martinez, and Melisa Hechavarria.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 12, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
