Anthony Nardolilli, age 84 of Orlando, FL passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, August 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando, Florida 32807 officiated by Father Terry Niziolek, M.S. A reception will follow Mass. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
After high school graduation, Tony enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II; assigned as a gunner in a B24 Liberator. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. After his tour of duty he earned a Doctorate Degree at Rutgers University and began his practice as an Attorney. When Tony retired in 1987, the family moved to Orlando.
Tony was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Nicholas and Carmela (Agoglia) on August 3, 1923. He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline (Sorrentino); daughter, Maria Gillock and brothers, Joseph and Patrick. He is survived by his beloved son, Nicholas, brother, Daniel (Edie) both of Orlando; granddaughter, Maria Danielle Bagley (Robert) and two great grandsons, Gavin and Aydin of Pacheco, California.
A very spiritual, caring and loving person, Tony was admired and loved by all who knew him. Although he was a man of slight built, Tony was a giant of compassion and character. Many thanks to those at East Orlando Health and Rehab Center (Sunbelt) who took such good care of Tony during the four years following his stroke, and to Vitas for accompanying hime during his last days.
