Antonia Castro de Miró, 85, of Rio Grande, Puerto Rico and Orlando, Florida, peacefully passed from the hands of her daughters, granddaughter, great granddaughters, and friends to the hands of God on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 after a brave battle with disease. The memory of her beauty, tenacity, and elegance remains with us today and always, while her legacy of love for life, family, God and all things beautiful will continue to burn bright and strong within those who adored her. Antonia is survived by her 3 children, Maria (Siry) Febo, Evelyn Miró, and Rafael (Rafa) Miró, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel in Orlando, Florida. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Please join us to celebrate the life of this phenomenal woman.
Abuela Toña, aunque te extrañamos muchísimo y sentimos un vacio inmenso, sabemos que estas con Nuestro Señor descansando y disfrutando con tu familia y con Abuelo. Espero que estès bailando en un "12X12" con Abuelo con esa sonrisa bella tuya que siempre vivirá en mis sueños como tinta indeleble.
