Antonio Betancur , 82, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
He was born on January 1, 1931 in Guatica Rda, Colombia to Abel Betancur and Maria Velez who have both preceded him in death. He moved to Central Florida in 1990 after he retired from Milton Can Company in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Antonio was a member of the Elizabeth, New Jersey Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife Julia Betancur; daughter, Marina Vidal; son, Marco A. Betancur and his wife, Jessica; brother, Rafael Betancur; sister, Elisa Betancur, Grandchildren, Mauricio Vidal,Liliana B.Vidal,Calvin A. Betancur, Anthony O. Perez, Charley M. Betancur and Peyton Julia Betancur; Great-Grandchildren, Mauricio A. Vidal, Christian Joseph Vidal, Giovanni Angelo Vidal, Isaiah E. Caceres and Elias D. Malave.
