Aquilina “Gie-Gie” Asegurado Festa passed away suddenly and tragically on March 18, 2025, just days after celebrating her 50th birthday. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Jim Festa, his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Danielle, as well as many close friends in Orlando, FL, Clovis, NM, and around the world.
Gie-Gie was the youngest of five siblings, born in Bansalan, Mindanao, Philippines. She was predeceased by her father, Aquilino Asegurado, her mother, Erlinda Villariaz, and two brothers. She is survived by her sister, Maria “Inday” Araceli Asegurado Abarquez and family, and her brother, Napoleon “Be-Be” Asegurado and family, along with many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends in the Philippines.
Gie-Gie was a loving and caring wife, a devoted friend, and was cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing.
Celebration of Life is Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (East Orlando Chapel), 895 S. GoldenrodRoad, Orlando, FL 32822.
