Aquilina Rivera, age 100 of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico on March 2, 1917.
Her memories will be cherished by her sons, Mario Ruiz, Peter Ruiz, Israel Ruiz, Raul Ruiz, and Alfred Ruiz; daughters, Sonia Kimball, Georgina Quinones, and Margarita Mora; twenty-six grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; and six great-great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rafel Ruiz; parents, Primitivo and Dorotea Rivera; and son, Geraldo Ruiz.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel), 895 South Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
Funeral Service is Wednesday, August 16, 2017 starting at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel), 895 South Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822. Interment immediately following at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817.
