Archie L. Cook

Archie L. Cook, age 86 of Maitland, died February 3. Colonel Cook was retired from the United States Air Force. Born in Woodstock, Georgia, he moved to Central Florida in 1972. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Air Force Association and the Retired Officers Association. He was preceded in death by his wife Betsy; brothers, William of FL and Doyle of GA. He is survived by daughters, Kathy Birkel of Anthem, AZ; Beverley Bare of Pacific Junction, IA; son Robert Cook of Sedalia, CO; brother, Dan Cook of Woodstock, GA; step-sons, Jim Moskos of Orlando, Jeffery Moskos of Oviedo; step-daughters, Nancy Atkins and Susan Jaffee, both of Maitland; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM-10:50AM Saturday, February 6 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 220 Horatio Avenue, Maitland. Funeral services will begin at 11AM. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park.
