Arnold Godfrey Jones

Beloved husband of Florence Jones.
He was proud to have lived longer than his parents Carmen Branch Jones and Alwin Jones and was looking forward to the milestone 75 years and 50th wedding anniversary to his true love Florence.

Arnold was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago in 1948 on the 3rd of April.
Arnold , Fiddle , Jonesy was known for his love of music and life. At the age of 18 he met Florence, married her at 24 and their life long journey began. Eventually they both migrated to the United states in 1975 and lived in Boston. Life had its challenges early on, suffering 11 miscarriages, only to have their dear Mercedes who passed away after a short life.
Despite Life's challenges. They shared a beautiful life together and inspired each other to succeed at their goals.

Arnold was a breakfast Chef at the Trinidad Hilton for 11 years before changing careers. In Boston he became an Auto Body Mechanic. Then on to Brigham and Women's hospital as a CPD Technician until he retired at age 66.

Arnold lived a satisfying life. As a Life member of the Unity Sports and Cultural he enjoyed many happy days with his life long friends; And will especially be missed by many including Irmine his all-fours partner; Ozzy, Fitzroy Charles and all the members of the Soca Club. He was a master All-Fours player, a DJ extraordinaire, Passionate about his love of Calypso and Soca, and any kind of Music.

Arnold loved entertaining friends and was not shy in expressing his strong views no matter how controversial they might have been.

Arnold is survived by his loving wife Florence.
He was the brother of Ashton(dec'd), Judy Manswell of Toronto Canada and Kathy-Ann Jones deceased.
His only daughter Arlyne Ward, three (3) grandchildren- Jelyne, Jada , Jemel- Arnold.
Neice and nephew - Lisa and Angel.
Cousins: Catherine, Keith, Nancy, Cynthia, Nadine, Val, Erleen, Tamika, Shawn and many others.
His dear sister-in-law Vivien, Neices & Nephew – Cathy, Sherry, Wendy, Andy, Gillian and Kerrie-Ann.
Friends : Luthan, Michael, Lenore and several others.
