Arthur Gordon Chisholm

Arthur Gordon Chisholm age 79, died at home in Apopka Florida, on Tuesday May 23, 2017. The cause of death was lung cancer.

Born to Margaret and Archibald Chisholm on March 3, 1938 in Kingston, Jamaica. Arthur affectionately known as Keke by family and friends, lived in Kingston Jamaica, before migrating to the United States. Keke started working as a fisherman at an early age with his brothers when his father died, to help support his mother and five younger siblings. Upon migrating to the United States he gained employment with the Holiday Inn Hotel in New York City where he worked as a Maintenance Engineer for over 30 years until he retired. Keke relocated to Florida approximately 10 years ago, and spent his last couple of great years with his son and family until the time of his death.

He is survived by his children, grand-children, brothers, sisters, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral Services are Friday, June 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750.
