Arthur Levesque Jr.

Arthur Levesque Jr. age 94, of Longwood, passed away January 11, 2018. Born July 15, 1923 in Lewiston, Maine, Arthur was a longtime resident of Hialeah FL and a resident for the past 30 years of Longwood FL. He is survived by his wife Verna (Hebert) of seventy years, eight children: Donna (William) Buholtz Longwood FL, Michael (Treasa) Levesque Port Charlotte FL, Stephen (Mary) Levesque Leland NC, Susan (Jeffery Thomas) Stanton Townsend GA, Pauline Levesque Plantation FL, Paul (Mary) Levesque Stephens City VA, Denise Levesque Apopka FL, John (Maureen) Levesque Longwood FL, fourteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father Arthur Levesque, Mother Helen (Provencher) Levesque, Brother Maurice Levesque and Sister Theresa Levesque.
Arthur served 3 years in the Army Air Corps during WWII and kept up correspondence with his sweetheart Verna whom he met at a local dance in Lewiston Maine. Arthur and Verna were married on April 30, 1947 in Miami and settled in Hialeah where he built the home they lived in and raised their family. Arthur worked for Pan American World Airways at Miami International Airport for 37 years. He had a second job running his own company from the garage of his home "Hialeah Rubber Stamp Co." where he offered rubber stamps, printing and wedding invitations. He enjoyed playing the piano, bowling at Hialeah Lanes, fishing, playing cards, and the occasional round of golf with his many friends.
Arthur will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to your favorite veterans charities or a charity of your choice in Arthurs name.
