Arthur P. Bennett

Arthur P. Bennett, age 60, of Orlando, passed away Saturday March 19, 2016. A former resident of Ogdensburg, New York , Art was a longtime resident of Central Florida. He is predeceased by his parents, Gerald Bennett and Priscilla Ives Bennett; his brother Gerald "Butch" Bennett and his sister Patricia Pearlman.

Art owned and operated A&K Bennett's Grocery in Ogdensburg, New York for 19 years. In 1999 Art and his family relocated to Lake Mary, Florida where Art continued in the retail grocery business. Art was an avid sports enthusiast throughout his life but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.

Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Katherine (Snyder) Bennett, his daughters Ericka Bennett of Atlanta, Georgia ; Stephanie Bennett of Oviedo, Florida and Colbie Ray of Harrison, Michigan; Sisters Nancy Skakum of Canada, Judy Carver of Florida, Sharon Wells of Florida and his brother Richard Bennett of New York.

Affectionately known as "Pop pops" Art will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nolan Bennett, Ava Ray and Laila Langlois.

Following Art's service at the funeral home the family invites their guests for a gathering at the home of Stephanie Bennett at 1000 Ragsdale Road Oviedo, Florida 32765
