Arthur Porter, Jr.

Arthur Porter, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather was called home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Beth and his four daughters, Penny, Pam, Linda and Karen; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He was born in Ironton, Ohio in 1930 and moved to Chuluota, Florida in 1960. He worked for the Space Center and Martin Marietta as an Engineer. As a good and faithful servant, he was asked to serve as Interim Pastor of Chuluota Community Church. With a passion for missions and the spreading of the Gospel, his influence continues to be far reaching. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Ministry of Porter and Lexie Hampton of New Tribes Mission. Porter and Lexie are grandchildren of Arthur and currently serve on the Mission field in Indonesia.
